WORSHIP ON SUNDAYS AT
8:00 AM • 10:00 AM
Greetings and welcome to Plattsburgh United Methodist Church, a community of faith in which “We live God's Love in all Places”.
Plattsburgh United Methodist is a Reconciling Congregation that welcomes all to our church community. It means that we have made a commitment to being in loving Christian ministry with all people without prejudice, to truly have “open hearts, open minds, and open doors,” to work toward the time when our congregation, our denomination, and our society live the all-inclusive love that our faith demands. We practice an extravagant welcome here in our community. We trust that God is active in our community and that we are shaped through the practices of worship, prayer, hospitality, education, fellowship and mission. We are a faithful, courageous, and beautiful community. Together we share in worship: we hear to the stories of Jesus and try to live into these stories through lives of action; we sing songs of hope and justice; we pray so that we can remember that we are not alone; and we gather together at the table to be fed and nourished. We trust that God is active in our world -bringing healing to brokenness, bringing justice to the oppressed, bringing hope to the hopeless.
We are grateful that you have found your way to our website. We hope it gives you a glimpse of what God is up to here on Beekman Street. You are welcome at Plattsburgh United Methodist Church. Consider this your invitation to join us, there will always be room for you.
